The Challenge

What We Were Working With

Tony's has been hand-tossing pies in Edmonton since 1974, and the family learned the craft in Italy before bringing it through New York. That story is the entire reason to choose them over a chain, and none of it was reaching anyone online. The menu was hard to find and ordering meant hunting for a phone number.

Our Approach

How We Solved It

We treated the food as the design. Full-bleed photography, a warm parchment and oxblood palette, and editorial serif typography give the site the feel of a place with fifty years behind it rather than a generic template. Order Online sits in the header, in the hero, and after every menu section. The story pages give the family history the room it deserves without getting between a hungry visitor and the menu.

Results

The Impact

  • Order Online reachable in one tap from any point on the page
  • Full menu presented as a browsable experience instead of a PDF download
  • Fifty-year family story built into the site as a differentiator against chain pizza
  • Distinct editorial brand look that separates them from every delivery-app listing
  • Fast, responsive build tuned for late-night mobile ordering traffic

The site finally looks like the restaurant feels. People walk in talking about it.
